'IRON BRIDGING ART + TECHNOLOGY: Past, Present + Future'
The objective of this conference is to focus attention on the growing interest and use of cast iron in contemporary sculpture jogos friv. The International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art provides a platform for artists and industry to exchange ideas, debate aesthetics, share and experience new experimental processes and technical developments.
Founded in 1986, and held every four years in the USA friv, the 2006 conference theme of 'Iron Bridging Art + Technology: past, present + future' has been dictated by its new location. The 5th Conference will be held for the first time in the UK at the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale, the birthplace of the jogos yepi industrial revolution and home of over ten museums dedicated to the history of iron.
We welcome you to join us for this unique International Conference with artists and educators coming together from Europe, Canada, America, Japan, China, England, Wales and Scotland.
